 Today, construction work began in the second phase of the Ibsar Project for the Blind, which is funded by handicap care and rehabilitation fund  and is implemented by one of the contracting companies in building and construction and under the supervision of a specialized engineering office. Mr. Jamal Al-Rajawi, Director of Projects at the Fund for the Disabled, explained that the first phase of the Ibsar Project for the Blind, which was funded by the Fund, has been completed in  Last period and today, accompanied by the management of the Yemeni Society for the Blind and the implementing contractor, he went to the project headquarters to enable the contractor to begin the second phase of the project, which costs 85 million and 400 thousand riyals from handicap care and rehabilitation fund, which includes a ground tank, a guard room, a canteen, and the finishing of the first floor along with the bone of the second floor. Al-Rajawi added,  This project is one of the projects that the leadership of the Disabled Care and Rehabilitation Fund, represented by Dr. Ali Nasser Maghli, Executive Director, attaches great importance to, since infrastructure for people with disabilities is the first foundation in the field of building the capabilities of associations and centers for people with disabilities.
 Al-Rajawi stressed the necessity of working with the specifications and designs of the project in accordance with the requirements of accessibility for people with disabilities and the time period specified for the project.
 In turn, Mr. Abdulaziz Balhaj, President of the Yemeni Association for the Blind, appreciated the interest of the management of the Fund for the Disabled in quickly completing the second phase of the Ibsar Project for the Blind, which will reduce the burden on the Association and the Fund from rents and also expand the training and rehabilitation programs for our blind children, adding that the existence of an educational, rehabilitation and service complex for the blind is the dream of everyone.  In addition, Muhammad Mayad, the project officer, reviewed the implementation stages of the second phase of the project, which includes many constructions and finishes in the first floor and the construction of the second floor's skeleton within six months, the time period specified for the project.
 They were accompanied during the visit by the Secretary-General of the Blind Association, Dhifallah Ajlan, Kamal Al-Sanhani, Executive Director of the Association, and Jihad Dahhan, Director of Rehabilitation and Training.
