Today, concluded the training course on building the capacity of resource mobilization coordinators on the mechanism of networking and coordination with various service providers (governmental, local, and international), which was organized by handicap care and rehabilitation fundover a period of 40 days, with the participation of 40 male and female trainees from the Fund for the Disabled and the National Union of Yemeni Disabled Associations.
At the conclusion of the course, Mr. Othman Al-Salawi, Deputy Executive Director of the Fund, congratulated the participants on the success of this important training course, appreciating the efforts of the trainers who provided the greatest amount of their effort and training experience in this course. Pointing out that this course has important objectives and topics of high value in the field of raising the capabilities of resource mobilization coordinators, through which participants learned about the size of disability in Yemen, its types and causes, local and international laws and legislation, as well as relevant concepts and terminology for people with disabilities, in addition to expanding protection programs for people. People with disabilities at the national level and what they should do next, stressing that we in the Fund's management, represented by Dr. Ali Nasser Maghli, the Executive Director, aim through this and other courses to raise the level of performance of the staff working in the Fund in a way that is consistent with the volume of expansion and development of services and to facilitate access for people with disabilities. on her
Explaining the steps and procedures that the Fund’s management is taking to correct the Fund’s conditions at all levels, in addition to striving to develop laws and legislation that will enable the improvement of the conditions of people with disabilities, including financial conditions.
