Today, Governor of Raymah Fares Al-Habbari reviewed the activities of the handicap Care and Rehabilitation Fund branch in the governorate.
Governor Al-Habari, along with the governorate’s undersecretaries, Muhammad Murad and Hafez Al-Wahidi, listened to an explanation from the Fund’s branch director, Ibrahim Shahat, about the workflow and services provided by the branch, and the tasks and training programs that serve the segment of people with special needs at the governorate and district levels.
He touched on the necessary solutions regarding the implementation of the work of surveying and fencing the land of the branch in the governorate center, which costs 35 million riyals, funded by the main center of handicap care and rehabilitation fund, and the difficulties that the Fund faces in serving the disabled.
During the visit, the Governor of Raymah praised the efforts made by the main center of the Fund and Care for the Disabled in providing in-kind, health and educational services to the segment of people with disabilities in the governorate and providing for their special needs, especially in light of the current conditions.
He stressed the keenness of the leadership of the local authority in the governorate to provide all aspects of support and care to the segment of people with special needs. He directed the health office and the branch of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs in the governorate to quickly provide the needs and requirements of the fund, including a solar energy system, computers for the training and rehabilitation center for the disabled, and medical supplies.
The Governor of Raymah also directed the Zakat Authority office in the governorate to provide all aspects of support to the disabled segment, provide their in-kind and material supplies, and work to combine all efforts to serve them to alleviate their suffering.
He was accompanied during the visit by the directors of the governorate office, Dr. Mohsen Al-Azizi, the branch of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, Hilal Al-Haddad, and the branch of the Sanitation and Improvement Fund, Saleh Al-Kasmi.
